Circle time, song time and game time are really fun, but my favorite thing at JWT is when I crawl through tunnels, hang on bars and swing. Plus, I get to show off for my Mum or Dad.
The rings, the hanging log forest, and the magic carpet ride are my favorites, but learning how to listen to the teachers and follow directions is pretty cool too, and I love that my mum and dad participate with me.
Its so great that JWT has a class just for us 2.5 year olds. Our Mums or Dads still play with us, but we have time in the class where we have to listen, wait our turn and follow direction. We don’t mind doing that stuff because we love to learn how to cross a balance beam, try the uneven bars, hang from trapezes and play fun games!
Finally a class where Mum and Dad do not play! JWT Stompers are the big kids. We have relay races, learn awesome forward and backward rolls, climb the climbing wall, jump rope, practice with tennis serves, and golf swings and get a chance to try all kinds of sports skills. The best part is, we don’t have to wait long at all for our turns!
I love this class! It’s definitely harder than the JWT Stompers, but it’s worth it! We work with all kinds of tumbling skills, including cartwheels. We have fun on the monkey bars, balance beam, and learn how to throw just about every kind of ball. My favorite is the game we play at the end of every class; the funnest is the space flight ride!
Its great to be a Tumbler, we get to do the best stuff and its challenging. I finally jump rope, hula-hoop and cartwheel! I m learning how to jump on a springboard and do back walkovers. It’s totally fun to learn volleyball bumps, and how to hold a football and throw it! Every week we play a cool game that requires us to think and work as a team!
An informal gymnastics and strength building class just for us kids who want to explore gymnastics in a non-competitive place. We don’t have to wait forever for a turn, and it’s all about getting to try gymnastics moves in a fun, fun place! I like to take this class over and over because I can’t believe how strong I have become. I can do a perfect cartwheel and even do pull-ups!
A fun introduction to yoga. The class includes basic standing, sitting and balance poses, ending with stretching and quiet time. Our focus is on body awareness and breathing.
An energetic introduction to karate. Kids will practice basic punches, blocks and kicks. These will be incorporated into team games as well as individual challenges. Focus is on technique and high energy fun.
